DTK (website) is an umbrella organization that gathers non-governmental organizations of the Democratic Society Movement (Demokratik Toplum Hareketi - DTH). It was established in Diyarbakır on 30 October 2007. The Congress carries out social and political activities based on democratic-ecological-women liberation paradigm. On 14 July 2011, DTK unilaterally declared the democratic autonomy of the Kurdish people.
